No reason to complain, really enjoyed this place and recommend. The breakfast was included in the price and had a wide array of meals. We were upgraded to functional single room with a lovely view. Good location, it was very close to restaurant, the rear garden and surrounding areas.

It was just a well-suited match for shopping in Lydney with fantastic value for money. The breakfast items were decent, though timing was an issue. Start your day early to enjoy breakfast before heading out.

The room wassuper clean and cozy, a plus. I loved that it was spacious enough and had a nice view out the back. The bed was cozy too, perfect for a good night's sleep. I did notice the bathroom could use a small upgrade, and it was a bit noisy with traffic if you left the windows open.

The room was snug and had a comfy bed. It also featured a private bathroom with a powerful shower, free toiletries, a TV, and heating. Free WiFi was available too. We visited Chepstow Racecourse and enjoyed some fantastic local hikes. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was a highlight. The garden area is lovely and provides ample parking which is a bonus for groups.
We did encounter some noise from the bar area , made it a bit challenging to relax at night. It wasn't a huge deal but worth keeping in mind.

The stay featured friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere, but the hotel definitely needs updates, especially in the room amenities. A tad noisy due to road traffic, breakfast could use more options like cereal. A decent value for money despite some minor issues.

A wonderful evening meal with an excellent Chicken Madras showcased the kitchen's skill with generous portions and delicious flavors. The cleanliness throughout added to the inviting atmosphere. The breakfast lacked cereals and specific tea options, and there was room for improvement in staff understanding orders, as shown during my breakfast experience.
